Chrisen
Chrisen better known as “Joe Joe” is a sweet little boy. He was in bad shape when we took him. He loves to help. He is the only toddler boy we have so he is out numbered by the girls. He is smart. He just does what the girls tell him to do. He is Granny Ike’s little boy. He is always smiling. He has learned to hold on to the railing on the stairs and go upstairs by himeself. Rose-Mirna likes to sit by him because he never finishes his food, so she helps him. It is hard to take his picture because he kept wanting to look in the camera.
Ros-Mirna
Rose-Mirna is a character. She was so sick when we took her. She could not even hold her head up. She loves Grandpa and Grandma. She calls my dad Maw Maw.
She is a character. She eats alot. She is the first one to the table and the last one to leave. She eats what the other kids do not eat. She is a blessing.
Mary Imene “Michalle”
Mary Imene “Michalle” will be 6 the end of this month. Her mom died last year and she was living with her grandma who lost everything including her house in the earthquake. She is living in the street in a tent. She just couldn’t care for her. She is the boss of the house. She has adjusted well. She is a big helper and no matter what you are doing she wants to help. She plays well with Chrisna (our 4 year old).
Chrisna
Chrisna is 4 years old. She has had the hardest time adjusting. We rescued her and her brother from one of the camps. Her mother lost everything including her husband. She has 5 children. She wanted me to take Chrisnel the youngest but Chrisna wanted to come also. She came and put her arms around me and asked if I would take her too. When I saw those big eyes looking at me I couldn’t refuse. She is very tender hearted and loves to play with Michalle.
Baby Andrew “Andy”
Baby Andrew “Andy” was not a victim of the earthquake but his Mom had abandonned him beside the road. So we got him. He is a sweet little guy. He could barely breathe when we got him. He is Linda Roller’s Baby. He laughs a lot and is so sweet. He just smiles, kicks his feet, and yells when you talk to him.
